Stories of Nurses Dealing with COVID-19 Virus Patients

Day by day patients affected by the Corona virus are increasingly booming.  Now it's not just doctors that I defeat.  This was also felt by the nurses.  One of them is Widyastuti.  Widyastuti was one of the nurses at RSPI Sulianto Suroso, Sunter, North Jakarta.  This was the 11th year Widya works as a nurse.  Previously she was a lecturer at a nursing academy.  Currently it is still but only as a side.

Widya said that dealing with the CovId-19 virus wasn't new to him because she had already faced a dangerous virus like Ebola and bird flu.  At RSPI Sulianto Saroso, Widya is responsible for 2 patients.  Every day, she will visit the 2 patient's room.  In the room, Widya will check the patient's vital signs.  In addition, she also prepared food, provided medicine and performed medical actions recommended by doctors.  In total, she can spend 1 to 2 hours in the isolation room to take care of 1 patient.  That is the maximum time allowed for someone in the isolation room.  But with the effort of medical personnel alone will not change the situation.  The community must also take part in preventing the spread of the COVID-19 virus.

Therefore, let us all work together to prevent the spread of this COVID-19 virus.  The medical staff will fight in the hospital.  Meanwhile, the community is also encouraged to stay at home, so that the efforts of medical personnel are not in vain.
